Lead, Integration and Test Engineer - System and Network Administration

Location: Palm Bay, Florida or Malabar, Florida; onsite

What you will do

• Maintain and troubleshoot development, integration, and production test environments for large-scale military avionics production lots.
• Maintain test equipment and support production delivery schedules by ensuring high availability.
• Administer Linux and Windows servers, clients, user accounts, and groups.
• Create, maintain, and deploy Linux and Windows 10/11 client images.
• Administer VLAN networking equipment and maintain connectivity for networked laboratory devices.
• Maintain tested data backups, perform restores, and resolve hardware, operating system, and test-equipment compatibility issues.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related STEM field with at least 9 years of systems administration experience; alternatively, a graduate degree with 7 years of experience or 13 years of experience without a degree.
• At least 5 years of experience with the test development process from requirements definition through qualification and production support.
• At least 5 years of hands-on hardware integration and troubleshooting experience.
• At least 5 years of networking experience with subnets and VLANs.
• Ability to obtain a US Secret security clearance; security clearances may only be granted to U.S. citizens.
• Ability to occasionally move equipment weighing up to 40 pounds and use a stepladder.

• Active US Secret security clearance.
• Experience with National Instruments test products and software.
• Experience working with multidisciplinary technical teams.
• Experience mentoring and developing technical staff.
• Strong written and verbal communication, analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
