Medior Electrical Engineer (The Netherlands)

Location: Hybrid in Amsterdam, Netherlands

What you will do

• Complete electrical designs, calculations, technical reports, specifications, and drawings.
• Select and specify electrical system components for project requirements.
• Coordinate services and equipment with multidisciplinary design teams.
• Review shop drawings, support construction services, and complete field surveys.
• Manage electrical equipment requirements, project deliverables, cost estimates, and multiple projects.
• Coordinate client, vendor, and contractor communications and assist with technical proposals.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• At least 5 years of electrical engineering experience in a design environment.
• Knowledge of NEN regulations and basic knowledge of Revit and AutoCAD.
• Good knowledge of Dutch and English is required.
• Strong communication, project management, organizational, and coordination skills.
• Ability to work proactively in a multidisciplinary design team and coordinate contractors.

Nice to have

• Experience with low- and medium-voltage systems.
• Knowledge of ATEX requirements and electrical system modelling software.
• Experience with Caneco and Eplan.
