Outside Sales Account Manager (Automotive Software)

Location: Kansas City, MO, United States; requires territory travel and hotel stays approximately six nights per month.

Provides software solutions for automotive dealerships, including the ERA and POWER dealership retail management systems.

What you will do

• Promote the sale of dealership software solutions within an assigned territory.
• Serve as a subject matter expert for ERA and POWER.
• Build and maintain relationships with current automotive dealership customers.
• Identify new accounts and develop opportunities through consultative sales.
• Work with area sales specialists to grow market share.
• Present how the software suite can improve dealership results.

Requirements

• 3+ years of related experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Excellent oral and written communication, presentation, persuasion, and sales-closing skills.
• Strong customer relationship skills.
• Ability to travel with approximately six hotel stays per month.
• Valid driver's license with fewer than two moving violations in the last three years and no OVI, DUI, or DWI violations in the last five years.

Nice to have

• Automotive industry experience, such as experience as a Sales Associate, Sales Manager, Internet Sales Manager, or F&I Manager.
