Nurse Practitioner - Psychiatry, Full-time, Days

Location: 3707 Doty Rd, Woodstock, Illinois, United States. Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m.-4:30 p.m.; overnight APP call, weekend, and holiday Behavioral Health Unit coverage may be required as needed.

Salary: USD 66.00-86.20 per hour.

What you will do

• Provide primarily ambulatory and outpatient psychiatric care in an independent practice setting.
• Conduct comprehensive health assessments, psychiatric evaluations, physical examinations, and follow-up visits.
• Prescribe or order medications, therapies, laboratory tests, imaging, and procedures within clinical privileges.
• Support PHP/IOP, the Behavioral Health Unit, and Psychiatric Emergency Services as needed.
• Educate patients, families, staff, and students while mentoring graduate students and serving as a clinical preceptor.
• Participate in quality improvement, research, committees, and professional education initiatives.

Requirements

• Master’s degree from an accredited nursing school or Physician Assistant program.
• PMHNP/APRN or Physician Assistant licensure in Illinois is required.
• National APRN certification approved by the Illinois APRN Board, or current Illinois Physician Assistant license.
• Credentialing and privileges through the hirify.global Medical Staff Office.
• Basic Life Support certification issued by the American Heart Association.
• Applicants must be licensed and authorized to practice in Illinois, United States.

Nice to have

• 3-5 years of advanced practice provider experience.
