Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (Telehealth)

Location: Remote, with active DEA registration and full practice authority in Maryland required

What you will do

• Build medication-management SOPs, clinical protocols, and workflows from the ground up.
• Provide identity-affirming psychiatric medication management for LGBTQIA+ clients.
• Conduct clinical assessments and maintain timely, HIPAA-compliant documentation in Avon.
• Collaborate with the Clinical Director and Medical Director to improve protocols and the integrated care model.
• Educate clients about medication science, safety, and expectations.

Requirements

• Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with active DEA registration and full practice authority in Maryland.
• Experience and strong interest in working with LGBTQIA+ clients.
• Experience prescribing and adjusting medications across indications, demographics, and acuity levels.
• Cultural competence in affirming, identity-centered care.
• Comfort working in a 100% remote telehealth setting.
• Experience building psychiatric SOPs from the ground up and maintaining HIPAA-compliant documentation.

Nice to have

• Dual licensure in Maryland and Virginia.
• Experience serving BIPOC and neurodivergent LGBTQIA+ clients.
• Telehealth startup experience.
• Familiarity with integrating medication and psychotherapy.
• Experience with outcomes-based, measurement-informed care.
