Structural Designer 3 (CAD/BIM)

Location: Remote within the United States; Greenville, South Carolina

Salary: $83,680–$125,520 per year

What you will do

• Create and refine 3D models and 2D construction drawings using Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, and potentially MicroStation.
• Prepare, review, and deliver structural design drawings and layouts that meet client, regulatory, and quality requirements.
• Develop structural and civil solutions involving foundations, concrete, steel, grading, stormwater management, and erosion control.
• Apply engineering codes, standards, procedures, and design guidelines to project deliverables.
• Oversee and mentor drafting personnel while coordinating work with multidisciplinary engineering and project teams.
• Maintain design schedules and perform material take-offs for procurement and cost estimation.

Requirements

• At least 7 years of industry experience in structural design.
• Proficiency with CAD and 3D design software, including Revit, AutoCAD, and Navisworks; MicroStation experience is advantageous.
• Strong knowledge of structural design documentation, engineering terminology, industry practices, codes, and standards.
• Experience integrating structural elements with industrial equipment such as tanks, skids, and pressure vessels.
• Associate’s Degree or Associate Technical Degree in design and drafting, or equivalent education and training; high school diploma or GED required.
• Must be eligible to work remotely from the United States.
