Senior Manufacturing Process Sustaining Engineer (Optical/Photonic Manufacturing)

Location: Pathum Thani, Thailand (Navanakorn). The role is performed in office, engineering laboratory, cleanroom, and manufacturing-floor environments.

What you will do

• Monitor and maintain manufacturing-process stability using SPC and other analytical tools.
• Provide technical support to production operators and technicians and troubleshoot process, yield, quality, material, and equipment issues.
• Perform root-cause analysis, implement corrective and preventive actions, and analyze production data for trends and improvement opportunities.
• Develop, validate, and implement improvements that increase quality and yield while reducing defects, cycle time, and manufacturing costs.
• Support Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, automation, new product introduction, process transfers, pilot builds, qualification, validation, and production ramp-up.
• Create and maintain process specifications, work instructions, control plans, Engineering Change Orders, and process controls while supporting audits and compliance activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering, Physics, Materials Science, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in manufacturing, process, or sustaining engineering.
• Knowledge of SPC, root-cause analysis, CAPA, FMEA, DOE, Lean Manufacturing, and Six Sigma.
• Strong troubleshooting, data-analysis, problem-solving, documentation, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Good command of English communication is required.
• Ability to comply with safety, ESD, cleanroom, operational, quality-system, and customer requirements.

Nice to have

• Experience in optical, photonic, electronics, semiconductor, or other high-technology manufacturing.
• Experience with process optimization, operational excellence, and manufacturing-efficiency initiatives.
