Senior Engineer, Manufacturing Engineering (AI)

Location: Amphoe Si Maha Phot, Prachin Buri, Thailand; onsite production environment

What you will do

• Support manufacturing engineering activities addressing production capacity issues, output gaps, and productivity improvement.
• Analyze production data and processes, including OEE and TEEP metrics, to identify improvement opportunities.
• Support capacity line setup, line conversion, scheduling, and production ramp-up activities.
• Assist with manufacturing cost improvement projects and capital equipment requests, purchasing, and order tracking.
• Develop or support digital applications using AI, Industry 4.0, and other digital technologies.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineering and Operations teams in a hands-on production environment.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent experience; fresh graduates and candidates with 0–2 years of experience are encouraged to apply.
• Fundamental understanding of manufacturing processes, production flow, capacity concepts, productivity improvement, line balancing, cycle time, and throughput.
• Introductory knowledge of OEE and equipment efficiency metrics, capacity analysis, manufacturing costs, and capital equipment processes.
• Data analysis and structured problem-solving abilities, with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Strong interest in AI, Industry 4.0, digital technologies, and manufacturing efficiency improvement.
• Willingness to learn and work hands-on in a production environment.

Nice to have

• Internship, co-op, or project experience in manufacturing or production.
• Exposure to line setup, line conversion, production ramp-up, Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or Continuous Improvement.
• Experience with dashboards, basic simulations, data analytics, automation, smart manufacturing, or digital factory concepts.
• Familiarity with manufacturing KPIs such as output, yield, OEE, and cycle time.
