Quality Control Manager (Food Packaging)

What you will do

• Oversee daily laboratory testing, validate methods and equipment, review results, and maintain instrument calibration.
• Maintain laboratory SOPs and procedures in line with ISO standards, BRCGS, FDA requirements, and internal quality systems.
• Support internal, external, customer, and regulatory audits.
• Investigate testing failures, non-conformances, and complaints using root cause analysis, then implement and verify CAPA.
• Analyze laboratory data, trends, SPC indicators, and quality metrics for management reporting.
• Drive testing improvements, digitalization, automation, method optimization, product development, raw material qualification, and process validation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering or a related engineering field.
• 2–5 years of experience in quality, laboratory testing, or a similar technical role.
• Strong knowledge of laboratory testing methods and quality systems.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, BRC, FDA, ISO 22000, and OHSAS 18001 systems.
• Proficiency in SPC, MSA, process capability analysis, and quality methods including WCM, TPM, 5W1H, Fishbone, 5 Why, and Kaizen.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, collaboration, and task-management skills.

Nice to have

• Experience in regulated food packaging.
• Experience in film manufacturing or plastic injection molding.
