VP, Head of R&D Clinical Creation Center (AI)

Location: United States — New York — New York City. Candidates must have permanent authorization to work in the United States; U.S. work visa sponsorship is not available.

Annual base salary: $274,000–$456,600. The role is also eligible for a 30% bonus target and a share-based long-term incentive program.

What you will do

• Own digital, data, and AI capabilities across study planning, design, startup, execution, monitoring, closeout, and reporting.
• Manage the technology budget and delivery outcomes for the R&D Clinical Creation Center portfolio.
• Define and execute a technology strategy using AI and advanced analytics to optimize clinical trials.
• Lead product-oriented delivery and Agile ways of working, including the transition from project-based to product-based operating models.
• Evaluate and integrate clinical data capture and eClinical platforms for colleagues, clinical sites, patients, and regulators.
• Build a cross-functional organization spanning technology, data science, and clinical expertise while establishing governance and prioritization frameworks.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and 15+ years of experience in digital product delivery, including leadership of technology organizations using modern product-oriented operating models.
• At least 5 years of experience in clinical operations, clinical development, or scientific and medical functions.
• Experience applying Agile ways of working at scale and shifting teams from traditional project delivery to product-centric models.
• Direct experience applying AI and machine learning to study planning, trial optimization, or clinical delivery.
• Experience partnering with senior clinical, scientific, and business stakeholders and leading through organizational change and ambiguity.
• Permanent U.S. work authorization is required; U.S. work visa sponsorship is unavailable.

Nice to have

• Experience with clinical data platforms such as RedCap Cloud, Veeva, or comparable eClinical systems.
• Experience in pharmaceutical or biotech R&D technology environments.
• Advanced degree in a relevant scientific, technical, or business discipline.
