Director/Senior Director - Commercial Analytics - Life Sciences (AI)

Location: Boston region, United States; flexibility to travel and/or relocate within the U.S. as required by projects

Salary: $157,600–$205,425 annually; performance-based compensation and bonus may apply.

What you will do

• Lead commercial and advanced analytics consulting engagements for pharmaceutical and life sciences clients.
• Build client relationships, lead executive presentations, and act as a strategic advisor to senior and C-level stakeholders.
• Develop and convert business opportunities, including RFPs, solution selling, strategic partnerships, and multimillion-dollar revenue streams.
• Manage practice-area P&L, project scope, margins, timelines, revenue goals, and client expectations.
• Customize and deploy proprietary analytics solutions and develop new analytical models and AI-enabled offerings.
• Build and lead teams while establishing a learning-oriented culture and strengthening delivery accountability.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, operations research, industrial engineering, economics, statistics, or a related field; an advanced degree is preferred.
• 10+ years of relevant commercial or advanced analytics experience in the life sciences industry.
• Experience with consultative client engagement, RFP development, solution selling, and data and AI applications in life sciences.
• Hands-on experience with AI models, frameworks, AI-powered analytics platforms, deep learning, prompt engineering, and large datasets.
• Experience leading projects and teams, applying statistical estimation and optimization techniques, and communicating complex findings to non-technical stakeholders.
• Completed coursework or certifications in Generative AI and agentic AI technologies.

Nice to have

• Experience in patient analytics, marketing mix modeling, pharmaceutical forecasting, sales force sizing, promotion response modeling, market access, pricing, or product launch planning.
• Exposure to Generative AI applications in market research, forecasting, or customer engagement.
