Vice President, Engineering, EPM (AI)

Location: USA - Remote

Salary: $212,000–$265,000 annual base salary, with possible additional bonus eligibility.

What you will do

• Lead a global engineering organization across multiple Enterprise Performance Management product lines.
• Define and execute modernization strategies for legacy and on-premise applications, including customer migrations to cloud-native SaaS.
• Direct the design and delivery of multi-tenant services and shared platform capabilities such as identity, observability, metering, provisioning, and self-service environments.
• Establish an agentic software development lifecycle with safe AI guardrails, human review, evaluation gates, traceability, and secure data handling.
• Partner with Product to deliver trusted AI features for planning, close, reporting, forecasting, anomaly detection, and natural-language analysis.
• Own engineering quality, reliability, security, operational excellence, budgets, staffing, vendor contracts, and DORA performance across product lines.

Requirements

• Prior experience as a Vice President of Engineering with 10+ years of progressive engineering leadership experience.
• 10+ years of software development experience, including at least five years building and operating cloud products with Java, C#, and JavaScript/TypeScript.
• 7+ years leading multiple Agile teams and programs, with expert knowledge of Agile and Lean principles.
• 5+ years driving DevOps and continuous delivery practices, including measurable improvements to DORA metrics and software quality.
• Experience leading global engineering teams and suppliers, modernizing enterprise applications to SaaS, and operating multi-tenant production systems.
• BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline; experience with AI and agentic tooling is required.

Nice to have

• Master's degree in a technical or business discipline.
• Experience shipping production AI or machine learning features, including LLM capabilities, retrieval-augmented generation, and evaluation frameworks.
• Experience with EPM, FP&A, financial close, or other finance applications where accuracy and auditability are critical.
• Experience with SOC 2, ISO 27001, GDPR, platform engineering, internal developer platforms, AWS, or Azure.
