Senior Director, Applied AI

Location: Hybrid in Acton, Massachusetts, with required on-site work from an hirify.global office

Annual base salary: $280,600–$420,850, plus possible incentive compensation.

hirify.global is a medical device company developing the Omnipod insulin management platform and other wearable drug-delivery solutions for diabetes and related therapeutic areas.

What you will do

• Define and own a five-year-plus enterprise applied AI vision, strategy, capability roadmap, and investment portfolio.
• Lead AI products and capabilities across patient engagement, customer experience, commercial effectiveness, market access, digital, operations, and enterprise productivity.
• Translate business challenges into AI opportunities, investment cases, product portfolios, experiments, MVPs, and scaled capabilities.
• Establish product operating mechanisms, governance, decision rights, funding priorities, adoption standards, and value measures.
• Guide responsible AI deployment with appropriate privacy, compliance, quality, security, regulatory, auditability, and human-oversight controls.
• Build and lead a multidisciplinary organization of directors, senior managers, product leaders, data scientists, AI engineers, analytics professionals, and delivery teams.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in computer science, engineering, data science, analytics, business, or a related field.
• 18+ years of progressive experience leading enterprise-scale data, analytics, AI, digital, or technology organizations.
• Experience leading leaders and multidisciplinary teams while owning complex portfolios, investment decisions, and measurable business outcomes.
• Strong understanding of applied AI, machine learning, generative AI, large language models, AI agents, RAG, copilots, predictive models, and workflow automation.
• Ability to influence executive stakeholders and communicate strategy, investments, value, and risk at CTO and ELT levels.
• Hybrid work with required on-site attendance at an hirify.global office in Acton, Massachusetts.

Nice to have

• Experience in healthcare, medical devices, life sciences, diabetes care, digital health, or other regulated industries.
• Experience scaling AI agents, customer service copilots, commercial recommendation engines, or patient engagement intelligence.
• Knowledge of data governance, MDM, customer, provider, patient, and commercial data.
• Familiarity with Salesforce, ServiceNow, Genesys, AWS, Azure, Databricks, Snowflake, or similar enterprise technology ecosystems.
