KYC Officer (Cryptocurrency)

What you will do

• Perform KYC and Customer Due Diligence (CDD) for new and existing customers.
• Conduct due diligence on outsourced third-party vendors and counterparties.
• Assess customer risk and assign appropriate risk scores.
• Screen customers, evaluate screening reports, and clear alerts daily.
• Review Source of Wealth and Source of Funds information, including verification.
• Support enhanced due diligence, risk mitigation, AML projects, and compliance management requests.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in law, finance, or an equivalent field; diploma holders in law may also be considered.
• Preferably two years of compliance experience in the finance industry.
• Understanding of or experience with cryptocurrency and blockchain, traditional finance, or capital markets trading.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, multitasking, interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and collaborate effectively.
• Prior experience is not mandatory; extensive on-the-job training is provided.

Nice to have

• Recognized AML certification such as ACAMS or ICA.
• Experience as a police officer.
