Head of Risk - Singapore (Fintech)

What you will do

• Own and oversee the risk management framework for the Singapore entity, aligning local requirements with the Group risk framework.
• Maintain and enhance risk appetite, policies, processes, risk taxonomies, and governance arrangements.
• Lead the Singapore Enterprise Wide Risk Assessment and develop KRIs and risk metrics.
• Provide independent second-line oversight and challenge for growth, products, partnerships, and operational changes.
• Prepare risk reporting and escalation materials for senior management, governance forums, and Boards.
• Support engagement with MAS and other regulators while strengthening risk culture across the Singapore business.

Requirements

• Significant risk management experience in regulated financial services, ideally payments, e-money, fintech, banking, or digital assets.
• Strong knowledge of the Singapore financial services regulatory environment and experience in MAS-regulated businesses.
• Proven experience developing and maintaining ERM frameworks, risk appetite frameworks, risk assessments, KRIs, and governance processes.
• Experience providing second-line oversight, challenging senior stakeholders, and working with regulators and governance forums.
• Strong ability to prepare risk reporting for senior management, executive committees, and Boards.
• Collaborative leadership style, sound risk-based judgment, and the ability to operate autonomously in a fast-moving environment.
