Retail Execution Specialist (Beverage)

Location: Riverside, California, with an additional location in Ontario, California; travel away from home required at least 20% of working time

Salary: $69,500–$102,100 per year

What you will do

• Visit and inspect rotating samples of key retail accounts against planograms, mandates, authorizations, and execution standards.
• Identify and correct basic execution issues, communicate unresolved problems, and coordinate follow-up with sales managers and wholesalers.
• Share retail execution best practices, provide market intelligence, and identify market-specific business development opportunities.
• Support wholesaler training, market surveys, and promotional initiatives across on- and off-premise accounts.
• Execute new product rollout plans and recommend solutions to launch challenges.
• Identify code-date and aging-inventory problems and recommend appropriate supply-chain actions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, ideally with a focus on sales and marketing.
• Ability to build customer and internal relationships, gather feedback, and identify needs and opportunities.
• Computer literacy, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Knowledge of business information tools such as Cognos 7/8 and Retail Vision.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to drive and travel by plane or train as needed.
• Ability to stand, walk, sit for extended periods, move up to 55 pounds, and perform the listed physical duties.

Nice to have

• Two years of professional experience or familiarity with consumer packaged goods or beverage industries.
• Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Strong math skills, including wholesaler margins, retailer cost calculations, and market discount structures.
• Bilingual communication skills.
