Electrical Engineer (Building Services)

What you will do

• Undertake electrical engineering studies, calculations, and detailed designs for building and infrastructure projects.
• Prepare design calculations using manual and software-assisted methods.
• Coordinate drawings, models, technical documentation, reports, and specifications.
• Support the design and delivery of power, lighting, communications, security, and renewable energy systems.
• Participate in meetings with clients, contractors, consultants, and authorities.
• Resolve technical and design coordination issues while collaborating with mechanical, structural, hydraulic, civil, and other disciplines.

Requirements

• Experience in electrical engineering within building services in a consulting environment.
• Experience or exposure to the design and delivery of electrical building services projects.
• Experience preparing technical documentation, specifications, and design calculations.
• Familiarity with relevant Australian Standards and industry practices.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work in multidisciplinary teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
