Electrical Strategist

What you will do

• Develop and manage the electrical maintenance strategy for the Ore Preparation Asset Team.
• Drive continuous improvement and reliability initiatives for electrical plant assets.
• Investigate faults and systemic equipment issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
• Develop scopes of work, Inspection Test Procedures, and commissioning plans.
• Plan, coordinate, and execute minor equipment improvement projects involving multiple trades.
• Maintain safety, compliance, and operational efficiency across the Sinter Plant and Raw Materials Handling Area.

Requirements

• Electrical trade qualification, diploma, or electrical engineering degree; willingness to complete a diploma may also be considered.
• Electrical experience in an industrial setting, including materials handling.
• Experience with industrial control systems; instrumentation experience is highly regarded.
• Experience writing, developing, or managing contracts.
• Knowledge of electrical, construction, and statutory safety requirements.
• Commitment to personal and workplace safety, with an adaptable and self-motivated approach.

Nice to have

• Experience with instrumentation equipment.
• Electrical engineering or industrial maintenance experience in a large-scale manufacturing environment.
