Forensic Accounting Senior Manager

Location: United States; compensation applies across offices in Colorado, Illinois, Ohio, and Massachusetts. The model is principally in-person with flexibility determined with the supervisor and team.

Salary: $131,000–$194,000 base salary.

What you will do

• Manage forensic accounting investigations and litigation support engagements, with an emphasis on asset misappropriation matters.
• Scope engagements, establish work plans, evaluate evidence, conduct data analytics and interviews, and quantify losses or damages.
• Prepare and review written reports for attorneys, boards, insurers, law enforcement, and courts.
• Evaluate internal controls, identify fraud risks, and recommend mitigation measures to clients.
• Lead forensic staff, delegate work, provide feedback and coaching, and manage multiple client relationships.
• Support practice development, fee generation, budgeting, billing, realization goals, and client expansion.

Requirements

• 10+ years of recent or current experience in forensic accounting or a related industry consulting practice.
• CPA designation required; a supplemental credential such as CFE, CIA, or CMA is preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field required.
• Experience managing engagements and teams through the full project life cycle.
• Demonstrated client communication, business development, sales, and multi-project management experience.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship. Overnight or international travel may be required.

Nice to have

• CFE, CIA, or CMA certification.
• Bilingual Japanese and English or Chinese and English candidates may qualify for an exception to the sponsorship condition.
