Salary: $154,400–$299,600 annually for Woodbridge, NJ. Actual compensation depends on experience, education, skills, and market factors.

What you will do

• Manage the Risk Monitoring Program for a business segment or organizational business model.
• Supervise Risk Monitoring Analysts and ensure the timeliness, accuracy, and quality of risk assessments, intelligence, reports, and regulatory responses.
• Oversee risk-based regulatory responses, examination strategy, firm corrective actions, and continuous risk identification across a portfolio of member firms.
• Identify emerging issues, brief senior leadership, and coordinate with Membership Application Program teams and external regulatory agencies.
• Develop staff through coaching, performance management, hiring, onboarding, and retention activities.
• Lead special projects, industry outreach, committee assignments, surveys, and technology initiatives affecting Risk Monitoring.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience; accounting, finance, economics, business administration, or a related field preferred.
• Advanced knowledge of the securities and financial services industry, securities rules and regulations, hirify.global’s nine risk fundamentals, firm business models, and U.S. GAAP.
• hirify.global Securities Industry Essentials certification or an acceptable equivalent required upon hire or within 16 months of the assigned training cohort start date.
• Demonstrated ability to lead risk identification, regulatory responses, examinations, complex projects, and teams of direct reports.
• Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, diplomacy, organizational, project management, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to work in a hybrid environment with defined in-person presence requirements.

Nice to have

• MBA, JD, another graduate degree, or relevant industry certification.
• Experience with a hirify.global firm grouping and finance- or business-specific projects.
