Lab Tech (Printing Ink)

Location: Buena Park, California, USA; onsite at the brand-new Buena Park location

Salary: $25–$35 per hour

What you will do

• Process color match requests, match colors, and prepare proof displays for customers.
• Maintain complete formula records, hard files, and computer files.
• Operate, clean, and maintain laboratory equipment and instruments.
• Perform product assessment tests and support quality control activities.
• Order and manage laboratory supplies while maintaining a safe, clean work area.
• Support manufacturing, R&D, production, technical service, and other departments, including short-notice travel to customer and company sites.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Strong written, reading comprehension, verbal communication, basic math, and computer skills.
• Ability to evaluate datasets, identify trends and root causes, and develop data-driven recommendations.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness and ability to travel on short notice as business needs require.
• Flexible, team-oriented approach and willingness to support operational and technical functions.

Nice to have

• Color matching experience.
• Experience with spectrophotometers, densitometers, press rooms, or polyester inks.
