Imaging Operator 2 KR (Digital Print)

Location: St Charles, Illinois, United States; onsite. First shift: Monday–Wednesday, 6:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m.

Salary: $21.20–$23.20 per hour

What you will do

• Operate high-resolution variable-print imaging and inkjet equipment.
• Program, prepare, release, and monitor jobs in the print queue.
• Adjust image positioning, color, resolution, perforations, folds, feed rollers, tensioning, timing, and in-line finishing.
• Monitor output quality and correct issues affecting product quality and production timelines.
• Maintain production logs and delivery manifests, and order required print supplies.
• Share expertise, train employees, and guide junior operators on corrective adjustments.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of digital print and/or inkjet equipment setup, operation, adjustment, and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of color theory and experience making color corrections to customer specifications.
• Knowledge of file manipulation and digital print file formats.
• Ability to set up feed rollers, tensioning, timing, and in-line finishing according to job specifications.
• Must be able to stand all day and lift up to 50 pounds.
• English must be spoken, understood, read, and written.
