Photolab Operator (Photolithography)

Location: Fremont, California, United States. Onsite work in a photolithography laboratory and cleanroom environment. Overtime and weekend work may be required based on operational needs. Applicants must qualify as U.S. Persons under ITAR/EAR regulations.

Salary: $20.00–$23.00 per hour

What you will do

• Operate manual and semi-automated photolithography processes in a fast-paced cleanroom laboratory.
• Clean, etch, plate, develop, and pattern substrates according to customer specifications and manufacturing process flows.
• Use photoresists, chemicals, masking aligners, microscopes, X-ray, Alpha step, Beta scope, and related measurement equipment.
• Enter quality data, inspect products, interpret drawings, and follow critical criteria and special instructions.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area while following safety procedures for chemicals and hazardous waste.
• Coach team members and provide guidance and support as needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Hands-on experience with photolithography, development, and manufacturing processes.
• Experience handling chemicals and knowledge of laboratory and safety procedures.
• Ability to use microscopes, calipers, Asher, X-ray, Beta scope, Alpha step, masking aligners, and related equipment.
• Ability to read drawings, enter data, use computers, prioritize workflows, and work independently with strong attention to detail.
• Proficient English communication skills and eligibility as a U.S. Person under ITAR/EAR regulations are required.

Nice to have

• Technical school or associate degree.
• Prior experience at an ISO 9000-certified company.
• Experience with Good Laboratory Practices.
