Junior Environmental Technologist/Scientist

Location: Calgary, Alberta, Canada; work is based in the Calgary office and includes travel to field sites as required.

Salary: CAD 25.00–35.00 per hour, commensurate with experience, skills, and geographic location.

What you will do

• Assist with Phase I, II, and III environmental site assessments.
• Support remediation and groundwater monitoring programs.
• Assist with well abandonment, surface reclamation, and soil and vegetation assessments.
• Prepare reports, work plans, and cost estimates.
• Participate in spill response and cleanup activities.
• Travel to support field programs and assist with other service-line projects.

Requirements

• Degree or technical diploma in environmental sciences, engineering, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of related experience.
• Collaborative, service-oriented, self-motivated, and able to multitask.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Valid unrestricted Class 5 driver's license and clean driving record.
• Ability to work outdoors, walk and stand regularly, lift up to 50 pounds several times a day, and work in hot, cold, rainy, and windy conditions.
