Head Environment

Location: Toronto, ON, Canada; onsite

Salary: 124,800.00–174,800.00 CAD annually, including target bonus.

What you will do

• Ensure site compliance with environmental and sustainability regulations, standards, permits, and reporting requirements.
• Develop and implement site programs covering eco-design, climate change, waste circularity, water stewardship, biodiversity, and resource efficiency.
• Monitor air, water, wastewater, waste, greenhouse-gas emissions, and other environmental performance indicators.
• Lead environmental impact assessments, incident and near-miss investigations, corrective actions, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Provide environmental training, promote proactive HSE culture, and coordinate with regulators, laboratories, consultants, and academic experts.
• Lead the Environment team, including hiring, coaching, capability development, and performance evaluation.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in health, safety, or environmental functions.
• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Environmental Science or Engineering.
• Strong environmental sustainability, management systems, regulatory, problem-solving, and project management knowledge.
• Intermediate product stewardship proficiency.
• Direct and transversal management experience, with the ability to coach, influence, and drive transformation.
• Ability to work onsite in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
