What you will do

• Perform mechanical design of water and wastewater treatment systems, ensuring quality and budget adherence.
• Execute sizing calculations and generate technical specifications for pumps, blowers, compressors, and piping systems.
• Prepare RFQ packages and perform technical bid evaluations for mechanical equipment procurement.
• Ensure all designs and bills of material are documented accurately and comply with customer and local codes.
• Coordinate process and mechanical design reviews during design, construction, and start-up phases.
• Interface with project managers and customers to resolve technical and scheduling issues.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• 5+ years of experience in a related engineering field.
• Industry experience in water treatment or Oil & Gas.
• Proficiency in specifying and evaluating rotating equipment, piping, tanks, and manual valves.
• Ability to read and interpret P&IDs and PFDs, including material balances.
• Experience with hydraulic design, including head and NPSH calculations for pump sizing.
