Project Engineer I (Aerospace)

What you will do

• Lead Electron engineering changes from initial concept through production.
• Build cost-benefit cases for proposed engineering changes.
• Control EBOM, MBOM, and master data releases.
• Identify and correct data errors before they reach the production floor.
• Improve engineering change processes and supporting tools.

Requirements

• Engineering degree and at least one year of relevant experience.
• Knowledge of CAD, technical drawings, and manufacturing processes.
• Experience with engineering changes and configuration management.
• Ability to remain calm under tight deadlines and make risk-based decisions.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• For the New Zealand role, eligibility to access equipment and data regulated by U.S. ITAR is required; nationality checks and background checks will be conducted before an employment offer.

Nice to have

• Experience with PDM, ERP, or project management.
• Knowledge of part numbering and revision schemes.
