Electrical Services Manager (Industrial Electrical)

Location: Auckland, New Zealand; travel to client and project sites is required as needed.

Salary: NZ$160,000–NZ$180,000 per annum, plus full use of a vehicle.

An established New Zealand engineering business operating an electrical services division.

What you will do

• Lead electricians, supervisors, contractors, subcontractors, and wider project teams.
• Manage projects from tendering, estimating, and pricing through delivery, commissioning, and handover.
• Oversee revenue, margins, labour planning, materials, cash flow, and project forecasting.
• Maintain client relationships and identify new business opportunities.
• Drive health and safety, quality, delivery standards, operational efficiency, and team development.

Requirements

• Strong experience in industrial electrical services, contracting, maintenance, or project delivery.
• Previous senior-level experience as an Electrical Services Manager, Operations Manager, Contracts Manager, Electrical Manager, or Senior Project Manager.
• Recognised electrical trade background and current New Zealand electrical registration.
• Commercial experience with estimating, tendering, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, and margin management.
• Experience leading electricians, supervisors, subcontractors, and project teams.
• Knowledge of industrial electrical installation, maintenance, commissioning, and health and safety requirements.
