Project Manager III (Additive Manufacturing)

Location: Greater Seattle Area, United States. U.S. citizenship or nationality, permanent residency, or lawful admission as a refugee or asylee is required.

Base pay range for Washington applicants: $112,059–$156,882.60 per year.

What you will do

• Manage multiple concurrent additive manufacturing projects, including scope, schedules, deliverables, risks, and recovery plans.
• Assess, justify, select, install, qualify, and activate new equipment and capital assets.
• Build capacity models covering labor, equipment, and floor space, then balance production load across internal program customers.
• Lead demand-versus-capacity analysis, time studies, cycle-time and takt analysis, line balancing, and throughput modeling.
• Own weekly and monthly reporting, leadership reviews, action tracking, planning events, and executive decision documents.
• Develop metrics and dashboards, apply AI-based data tools, and improve planning and project management processes using Lean methods.

Requirements

• 4+ years of project management experience in manufacturing, aerospace, or another complex technical environment.
• Technical foundation through engineering education, technical training, skilled trade or apprenticeship experience, or equivalent hands-on experience.
• Experience independently establishing planning, capacity, or project structures and driving deliverables through people outside the reporting line.
• Experience with capacity planning, capital investment business cases, scheduling tools such as MS Project, and limited-data estimates.
• Knowledge of industrial engineering fundamentals, AI-based systems, data analysis, metrics, and senior-level business writing.
• Must be a U.S. citizen or national, current Green Card holder, or lawfully admitted refugee or asylee.

Nice to have

• Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or Operations Research education.
• Production or machine shop experience, including additive manufacturing, CNC machining, or post-processing.
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or higher, capital planning, labor forecasting, or production ramp experience.
• Experience with Jira, Confluence, Tableau, Smartsheet, Agile/Scrum, SQL, AI-enabled workflows, or PMP certification.
