Manager, Operations Project Mgmt (Aerospace/Defense)

Location: Simi Valley, California, United States; U.S. Citizenship required. Travel within the Continental U.S. and internationally may be required.

Salary: $117,500–$179,250 annually

What you will do

• Lead the activities and performance of operations project management professionals and supervisors.
• Oversee project plans, schedules, budgets, resources, and execution from initiation through completion.
• Coordinate cross-functional work across procurement, manufacturing, quality control, vendors, and suppliers.
• Analyze operational processes and recommend improvements that increase productivity and reduce costs.
• Manage project risks, contingency planning, stakeholder communication, status reporting, and project reviews.
• Lead post-project evaluations, document lessons learned, and incorporate findings into future planning.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, manufacturing management, engineering, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• At least 8 years of relevant experience and 3 years in a leadership role.
• Experience with manufacturing software, including ERP systems, MES, and data analytics platforms.
• Project management proficiency and knowledge of manufacturing principles, processes, technologies, and quality management systems such as ISO 9001.
• Strong communication, organizational, analytical, managerial, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Current U.S. Citizenship is required; the role involves ITAR/EAR-controlled information.

• Advanced degree, MBA, or MS.
