AVP, Relationship Manager (Equipment Finance)

Salary: $63,000–$70,000 per year, plus commission eligibility.

What you will do

• Develop and manage a portfolio of equipment finance clients with capital-intensive needs.
• Originate and structure equipment finance loans and leases within credit policies and risk appetite.
• Coordinate with Credit, Legal, and Operations on underwriting, documentation, and transaction closing.
• Build new business through proactive calling and strengthen existing client relationships.
• Advise clients and internal bankers on equipment lifecycle, valuation, and financing strategies.
• Monitor portfolio performance, maintain CRM records, and support pipeline reporting and forecasting.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in equipment finance, commercial lending, or relationship management.
• Ability to structure and negotiate complex financial transactions.
• Strong knowledge of credit underwriting fundamentals and financial statement analysis.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage C-suite executives.
• Proficiency with CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite; ability to travel as needed for client meetings and industry events.

Nice to have

• Experience in banking or financial services.
• Familiarity with equipment types and industry-specific financing structures.
