What you will do

• Provide classroom, clinical, face-to-face, simulation, and online instruction for undergraduate and/or graduate nursing programs.
• Assess, validate, and evaluate student learning outcomes in theory and clinical settings.
• Develop teaching and learning materials that strengthen academic and clinical competencies.
• Facilitate laboratory learning opportunities and implement virtual learning experiences in simulation laboratories.
• Collaborate with administrators, directors, coordinators, faculty, and committees on curriculum and student learning activities.
• Support university, college, community, research, laboratory policy, retention, progression, and graduation activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science and master’s degree in nursing.
• Evidence of teaching ability and clinical experience in psychiatric/mental health, family health including obstetric or pediatric nursing, or medical-surgical nursing.
• Competence in organizational and management skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively and work with faculty and students.
• Current unencumbered registered nurse license in Texas, or eligibility for Texas licensure.
• No prior experience is required.
