Logistics Specialist (Aerospace)

Location: Mojave, California, United States; Mojave-based onsite role. Supports deployments within the continental U.S. and overseas, with extended schedules including early starts, late hours, weekends, and holidays.

Base salary: $79,000–$105,800 for 5–8 years of experience; $99,000–$135,000 for 8+ years of experience.

What you will do

• Plan and execute logistics for hypersonic missions, including personnel travel, hardware movement, accommodations, transportation, and deployment events.
• Coordinate offsite deployments with Ground Operations, local ground-support-equipment suppliers, customs agencies, and accommodations providers.
• Prepare passports, visas, customs and border-control paperwork, HTS codes, ECCNs, and biohazard documentation for overseas operations.
• Develop deployment timelines for equipment delivery and staging, and oversee onsite and recovery mission planning.
• Manage vendor coordination, procurement support, contract terms, mission budgets, travel itineraries, calendars, post-event reports, and ROI measurement.
• Coordinate cross-functional stakeholders, including executive leadership, to complete missions across teams and time zones.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of relevant experience; experience supporting deployed personnel is highly desirable.
• Experience generating customs paperwork and compiling HTS codes, ECCNs, and biohazard requirements.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Zoom, Smartsheet, and internal software tools.
• Ability to work autonomously, manage conflicting priorities, maintain confidentiality, and collaborate across functions.
• Must be based in Mojave, California; a driver’s license and ability to obtain a U.S. passport are required. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs is required.

Nice to have

• Aerospace or defense industry experience.
• Understanding of risk management and mitigation strategies.
• Ability to attain a TS/SCI clearance.
