Manufacturing Operations Program Manager

Location: Livingston, NJ; New York, NY; Sunnyvale, CA; or Bellevue, WA. The position requires access to export-controlled information and candidates must meet applicable U.S. person, authorization, or export-authorization requirements.

Base salary: $207,000–$275,000 per year, plus discretionary bonus, equity awards, and benefits.

What you will do

• Define and own NPI manufacturing plans across EVT, DVT, PVT, and MP phases, including schedules, build and test readiness, exit criteria, and go/no-go reviews.
• Lead the transition from NPI to sustaining production, including process documentation, quality plans, spares strategy, and open action items.
• Maintain risk registers covering technical, supply chain, quality, and schedule risks across contract manufacturers, suppliers, and data centers.
• Manage manufacturing strategies involving contract manufacturer expansion, data enablement, and cross-manufacturer standardization.
• Coordinate engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, quality, program, and product management stakeholders, including executive-level status and risk updates.
• Drive resolution of quality issues, production changes, and program decisions across new product ramps and active production lines.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in program management, NPI, operations, or quality within hardware manufacturing, covering product launches and sustaining production.
• Direct experience driving build and test readiness through EVT, DVT, PVT, and MP phases.
• Experience with sustaining engineering programs, including ECOs, running changes, second-source qualification, end-of-life planning, or product transitions.
• Experience resolving cross-functional quality issues under time pressure without formal authority over participating teams.
• Strong skills in schedule management, risk tracking, milestone and gate reviews, action-item management, and executive communication.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations, or a related field, plus experience with supply chains and contract manufacturers or ODM/OEM partners.

Nice to have

• 12+ years of direct experience in program management, NPI, operations, or quality.
• Deep understanding of server architecture.
• Familiarity with PLM and ERP systems.
• Knowledge of FMEA, 8D, CAPA, root cause analysis, containment, and corrective action processes.
• Experience building cross-organizational processes and systems.
