Global Quality Systems Manager (ISO 9001)

Location: Fairport, NY, United States; global responsibility. Travel up to 25% domestically and internationally.

Salary: $83,400–$155,000 per year

What you will do

• Own and continuously improve the global Quality Management System architecture, policies, procedures, governance, and performance metrics.
• Lead ISO 9001 certification maintenance, external and internal audit programs, audit readiness, and corrective-action follow-up across global sites.
• Manage document control, quality records, retention requirements, revision control, and global quality process standardization.
• Serve as business owner for the enterprise QMS, leading implementation, configuration, validation, adoption, training, and data integrity.
• Govern CAPA, nonconformance, deviation, root-cause analysis, and corrective-action effectiveness processes.
• Develop quality reporting standards, executive dashboards, KPI analysis, and cross-functional continuous-improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, Operations, Business, or a related technical field.
• 8–10 years of progressive quality leadership experience in a manufacturing environment, including at least 5 years owning or leading Quality Management Systems.
• Experience managing multi-site quality systems, compliance programs, ISO certification and surveillance audits, and enterprise QMS software.
• Expert knowledge of ISO 9001 and strong knowledge of CAPA, corrective actions, root-cause analysis, audit methodologies, document control, and quality governance.
• Knowledge of PFMEA, DFMEA, Control Plans, SPC, APQP, PPAP, and structured problem-solving methods.
• Experience with enterprise quality platforms such as ComplianceQuest, Oracle Fusion QMS, ETQ, or equivalent systems.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in a related field.
• ASQ CMQ/OE or CQA certification.
• ISO 9001 Lead Auditor certification.
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt.
