Lead AI Tech Architect (TMT, Product & Tech)

What you will do

• Work with CTOs, CIOs, CPOs, chief architects, and engineering leaders on complex technology challenges.
• Assess product, application, and platform landscapes and define target architectures, product boundaries, integration patterns, and transformation roadmaps.
• Design and modernize SaaS, cloud-native, API-led, modular, distributed, and event-driven products and platforms.
• Shape AI-enabled and agentic products, including data foundations, integration, observability, security, and governance.
• Lead architecture assessments, technical due diligence, assurance, governance, legacy remediation, and technology transformation.
• Coach architects and consultants while contributing methodologies, intellectual property, and expertise to BCG’s technology communities.

Requirements

• 10–15 years of experience in software engineering, architecture, technical leadership, digital delivery, or technology consulting.
• Significant TMT experience and deep expertise in at least one relevant Product & Tech domain.
• Experience designing modern product, platform, software, SaaS, cloud, and legacy-modernization architectures.
• Understanding of AI-enabled and agentic architecture, modern data foundations, and their impact on product and engineering organizations.
• Experience with platform engineering, DevSecOps, SRE, automation, developer experience, and modern engineering practices.
• Strong executive communication, decision-making, multidisciplinary leadership, and stakeholder management skills; a STEM or business degree is required.
