Senior Data and AI Architecture and Platform Lead (Azure)

What you will do

• Own the target-state architecture and technical direction for the Azure data and AI platform and analytics ecosystem.
• Design a secure, governed, cost-effective platform supporting scalable data products, business intelligence, and AI/ML.
• Lead architecture decisions, standards, reference designs, security, privacy, integrations, and source onboarding patterns.
• Lead the Azure data and AI architecture and platform team, external vendors, and technical delivery across the organisation.
• Define the platform strategy and roadmap, addhirify.globals technical debt, and guide tooling and implementation decisions.
• Coach architects, engineers, and analytics teams while communicating architecture and data-platform strategy to executives and business stakeholders.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in global data architecture, data engineering, data platforms, analytics leadership, and platform operations.
• Proven delivery of secure, governed, cloud-based data and AI platforms using Azure and Microsoft Fabric, including data lakes, data warehouses, and ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Mandatory experience with data architecture and engineering for ERP integration and migration from legacy to modern platforms, including financial, human hirify.globalources, and corporate-services data.
• Experience establishing architecture standards, technical assurance processes, data models, taxonomies, reporting frameworks, and AI/ML platform integrations.
• Experience leading and line-managing data and AI architecture or platform teams, briefing executive leaders, and managing global programmes.
• Full UK work rights are required; visa sponsorship is not available.
