Sr Software Order Fulfillment & Licensing Specialist

What you will do

• Own software orders from purchase order validation through license fulfillment.
• Validate products, quantities, terms, customer information, and fulfillment requirements.
• Execute approved license transfers, assignment corrections, configuration updates, and entitlement changes.
• Investigate discrepancies across orders, system configurations, license records, and integrations.
• Coordinate with Sales, Customer Support, Finance, IT, and Order Fulfillment to resolve issues and assess invoicing and revenue recognition impacts.
• Develop procedures, validation checks, decision guides, and process improvements for software fulfillment and licensing operations.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in order management, software fulfillment, licensing operations, or a related field.
• Experience managing complex software licenses or entitlements, including quantity, assignment, and configuration changes.
• Strong analytical, logical reasoning, investigation, reconciliation, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with an ERP or order management system and proficiency in Excel for analysis and exception tracking.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize competing demands, communicate complex issues clearly, and maintain accuracy under time pressure.
• Ability to work remotely from the United States.

Nice to have

• Experience in enterprise software, infrastructure, storage, or another technically complex business.
• Familiarity with Salesforce, NetSuite, license provisioning platforms, or integrated order-to-cash workflows.
• Understanding of how licensing and installation milestones support invoicing and revenue recognition.
• Experience improving operational processes, documenting requirements, and supporting system testing.
