NPI Team Lead (Manufacturing)

Location: Mossville, Illinois, United States; onsite five days a week. Domestic relocation assistance is available. The position requires 25%–30% travel.

Salary: $128,470–$192,710 per year.

What you will do

• Lead new product introduction activities for remanufactured electronics and related power-generation products.
• Coordinate resources across business, sales, marketing, platform, and functional groups.
• Monitor project progress, costs, schedules, risks, and deliverables.
• Communicate status with stakeholders, resolve issues, and manage customer expectations.
• Influence project staffing while motivating and developing project team members.
• Apply project management, quality management, problem-solving, and design-for-manufacturability practices.

Requirements

• Strong engineering and product knowledge in generator ends, generator sets, power generation, large rotating electrics, electric motors, or engine manufacturing.
• Experience in manufacturing, operations, process engineering, design or performance engineering, NPI leadership, or related roles.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams and delivering product-introduction milestones.
• 10–15 years of relevant product knowledge or experience.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or equivalent relevant experience preferred.
• Visa sponsorship is not available; candidates requiring employer-specific sponsorship are not currently eligible.

Nice to have

• Six Sigma Black Belt certification.
• Lean manufacturing experience or certification.
• Experience with the Electric Power Division, Lafayette Engine Center, or similar product groups.
