Maintenance Manager (Manufacturing)

Location: Willimantic, Connecticut, United States; onsite manufacturing facility role.

Salary: $121,000–$181,000 base per year.

What you will do

• Lead maintenance, facilities, and reliability functions for the manufacturing facility.
• Direct maintenance personnel and coordinate preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs to maximize equipment uptime.
• Manage infrastructure systems, CMMS usage, maintenance scheduling, workforce hours, costs, and critical spare parts.
• Oversee installation and commissioning of new machines, including maintenance documentation and lockout/tagout procedures.
• Manage vendors, bids, capital projects, facility improvements, and department budgets.
• Partner with Production, Engineering, EHS, Finance, and plant leadership on safety, quality, delivery, cost, and continuous improvement objectives.

Requirements

• Results-driven experience in a high-performance manufacturing environment.
• Proven maintenance or facilities engineering experience in manufacturing; facilities engineering experience is required.
• Bachelor’s degree or at least 10 years of relevant experience.
• Strong planning, leadership, administrative, analytical, written, and oral communication skills.
• Ability to manage complex tasks under pressure, respond quickly to production problems, motivate teams, and drive continuous improvement.
• Ability to work onsite at the Willimantic, Connecticut manufacturing facility.
