Production Manager (Manufacturing)

Location: Arlington Heights, Illinois, United States; onsite manufacturing facility

Salary: $101,000–$152,000 annually, plus bonus and/or incentive eligibility

What you will do

• Manage daily manufacturing operations and production output while maintaining quality and minimizing equipment downtime.
• Establish and enforce safety, security, cleanliness, and 5S procedures, including safety meetings and capital requests.
• Coordinate plant activities with leadership, sales, engineering, procurement, shipping and receiving, maintenance, quality, and technology teams.
• Implement lean and continuous improvement initiatives to improve productivity, reduce scrap, lower costs, and track performance through KPIs.
• Hire, onboard, train, mentor, and manage staff while maintaining appropriate staffing levels, motivation, and performance standards.
• Resolve customer and operational issues, ensure quality-system compliance, and perform troubleshooting and root cause analysis.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 5 years of experience in manufacturing and supply chain environments, including inventory management or warehousing.
• Intermediate proficiency with AS400 and SAP.
• Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills, including formulas, charts, sorting, formatting, and print configuration.
• Ability to work at the Arlington Heights, Illinois manufacturing facility.

Nice to have

• Spanish proficiency.
• At least 5 years of experience managing people, including hiring, development, motivation, and direction.
