Location: Portland, Oregon, United States. Hybrid schedule: 4 days per week in-office and 1 day remote. Applicants may work in or relocate to Portland; relocation assistance is not available.

Salary: $71,000–$91,000 USD per year, depending on knowledge, skills, and experience.

What you will do

  • Serve as the first point of contact for emerging field quality issues and monitor trends to identify risks.
  • Lead cross-functional investigations by analyzing warranty claims, product configurations, failure rates, costs, and product volumes.
  • Create and manage FRACAS investigations, quantify failure modes and probable root causes, and coordinate corrective actions.
  • Facilitate structured problem-solving, assign accountability, escalate technical concerns to subject matter experts, and report findings to management.
  • Support rate planning, quality reporting, process documentation, training, tool development, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and 2 years of related experience, associate’s degree and 3 years of related experience, or 6 years of related experience.
  • Working knowledge of truck product design, system integration, testing, and overall vehicle operation.
  • Experience with analytical techniques, statistics, forecasting, performance metrics, and trend analysis.
  • Knowledge of structured problem-solving methods and experience contributing to cross-functional projects.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills, including the ability to explain findings to management.
  • Applicants must be legally authorized to work permanently in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available, including for existing visa holders.

Nice to have

  • Familiarity with DTNA warranty data structures, reporting tools, manufacturing plants, and internal engineering, purchasing, production, compliance, service, and telematics processes.
  • Experience developing analytical tools, process documentation, training, and knowledge-sharing resources.
