Senior Contractor Program Security Officer (CPSO) (Aerospace)

Location: Onsite in Redondo Beach, California, United States

Salary: $185,000–$215,000 per year, plus potential stock options and benefits.

What you will do

• Serve as CPSO and, when assigned, CSSO for SAP, SCI, and multi-level programs.
• Coordinate with U.S. Government Program Security Officers, DCSA, customers, program management, engineering, the FSO, ISSO/ISSM, and COMSEC.
• Process access requests and SCI nominations while maintaining personnel security records and access rosters in DISS, NBIS, Scattered Castles, and JADE.
• Develop program security procedures, Program Protection Plans, OPSEC plans, CONOPs, classification guidance, and DD Form 254 documentation.
• Manage classified material accountability, markings, safeguarding, transmittals, destruction, and final disposition.
• Lead self-inspections and prepare programs for Staff Assistance Visits, DCSA assessments, customer inspections, SCIF/SAPF accreditation, and corrective actions.

Requirements

• U.S. citizenship is required.
• Active DoD Top Secret clearance with current SCI eligibility is required; ability to obtain and maintain SAP access and a CI-scope polygraph is also required.
• Ability to work onsite in Redondo Beach, California.
• 10+ years of industrial or program security experience in a cleared defense, aerospace, or intelligence environment, including at least 5 years as a CPSO, CSSO, or equivalent SAP/SCI security lead.
• Bachelor’s degree in security management, criminal justice, or a related field, or equivalent education and experience.
• Working knowledge of 32 CFR Part 117, DoDM 5205.07 Volumes 1–4, ICD 704, ICD 705, and classification management.

Nice to have

• Current TS/SCI with polygraph and existing SAP indoctrinations.
• Experience supporting space, launch, spacecraft integration, remote sensing, or National Security Space programs.
• Experience with SAP/SCI personnel security systems, including DISS, NBIS, Scattered Castles, and JADE.
• Experience standing up SAP/SCI programs or accrediting a new SCIF/SAPF.
• Experience with DD Form 254 development, Program Protection Plans, OPSEC planning, and high-tempo New Space environments.
