Personnel Security (PERSEC) Officer

Location: Onsite at the Denver office in Centennial, Colorado, United States. Domestic travel of up to 25% and occasional travel to government sites, launch facilities, or partner locations may be required.

Salary: $105,000–$150,000 annual base salary, plus equity and benefits.

What you will do

• Manage the personnel security program with the Senior PERSEC Officer in compliance with 32 CFR Part 117, NISPOM, and DoD and Intelligence Community requirements.
• Oversee end-to-end clearance processing, including investigations, reinvestigations, Continuous Vetting, upgrades, SCI nominations, polygraph coordination, briefings, and debriefings.
• Coordinate clearance-related matters with DCSA, DoD, and Intelligence Community personnel security representatives.
• Maintain accurate submissions and records in DISS, NBIS, JADE, and other government systems of record.
• Develop internal controls, SOPs, metrics, and audit-readiness processes; manage adverse information reporting and security incidents.
• Advise leadership, partner with HR, Legal, Talent Acquisition, Insider Threat, and Program Management, and train employees and managers on security responsibilities.

Requirements

• Must be a U.S. citizen with a current Tier 5 investigation and an active Top Secret SCI clearance with SCI eligibility.
• Seven or more years of Industrial Security experience with significant Personnel Security focus.
• Deep working knowledge of 32 CFR Part 117, NISPOM, DISS, NBIS, JADE, and related DoD and Intelligence Community systems.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in security management, business, or a related field.
• Must work onsite at the Denver/Centennial, Colorado office.
• Must satisfy U.S. ITAR eligibility requirements, including U.S. citizenship, lawful permanent residence, protected individual status, or authorized eligibility.
