Financial Analyst, Accounting (Medical Technology)

Location: On-site in Irvine, California, United States

Annual salary: $70,000–$90,000, plus eligible bonus or incentive pay.

hirify.global’s operating company Masimo develops medical technology including patient monitoring, sensors, non-invasive measurement technologies, and connectivity solutions.

What you will do

• Prepare financial analyses, reports, schedules, and supporting documentation for management and external reporting.
• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities, including journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, and schedules.
• Analyze general ledger accounts, transactions, financial results, trends, variances, and errors.
• Support internal and external audits by preparing reconciliations, documentation, schedules, and responses.
• Maintain accounting documentation and support internal controls, company policies, and SOX compliance.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of accounting, financial analysis, or related experience; relevant internship experience may be considered.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Experience with or exposure to month-end and quarter-end close processes, journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial analysis.
• Working knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and U.S. GAAP.

Nice to have

• Experience in a publicly traded company or SOX-controlled environment.
• Experience with Oracle or another large-scale ERP system.
• Experience in medical device, healthcare, manufacturing, or another regulated industry.
• Progress toward a CPA or another relevant professional certification.
