TL;DR
Materials Coordinator (Warehouse Lead, 2nd Shift) (Warehouse Operations/Lean Manufacturing): Coordinating receiving, warehousing, and materials distribution at a Roseville facility with an accent on team leadership, safety, quality, and production metrics. Focus on implementing Lean and 5S principles, identifying root causes, solving operational problems, and sustaining delivery and cost performance on the second shift.

Location: Roseville, Minnesota, United States. Onsite, 2:00pm–11:00pm, Monday–Friday, with weekend work as needed.

Salary: $24.00/hour plus a $0.75/hour second-shift differential. Pay may increase after skills proficiency and training completion.

What you will do

  • Coordinate receiving, warehousing, and distribution of materials and equipment while maintaining warehouse cleanliness and security.
  • Lead team setup, shift startup, work assignments, training, and safe and productive task execution.
  • Monitor order quality, production output, delivery, cost, 5S, and other operational metrics.
  • Identify root causes, implement corrective actions, and lead team problem-solving efforts.
  • Implement Lean manufacturing principles and support housekeeping, ergonomics, and workplace safety.
  • Fill in for team members, track production hourly, and address performance issues.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent and 1–2 years of experience.
  • Experience with SAP or a similar ERP system.
  • Knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles and ability to lead team problem-solving.
  • Strong verbal, written, interpersonal, and organizational communication skills.
  • Ability to perform operations within takt time and lift and lower weights up to 50 pounds; the role requires standing, walking, and twisting.
  • Steel-toed footwear is required.
