TL;DR
Data Scientist (AI): Building data science, machine learning, and AI-enabled solutions for decision-making, automation, optimization, and business outcomes across the energy value chain with an accent on business problem framing, scalable model development, and adoption. Focus on cleaning data, developing and testing models, managing model lifecycles, applying MLOps practices, and addressing responsible AI and data governance challenges.

What you will do
- Partner with business stakeholders to frame opportunities for data science, machine learning, AI, and GenAI solutions.
- Define business value, success measures, adoption considerations, and required data and technologies.
- Clean data and develop, test, and deploy analytical and machine learning models.
- Establish model lifecycle management processes, including documentation, monitoring, performance management, retraining, and responsible deployment.
- Communicate progress and impact with business stakeholders, product owners, and technical teams.
- Provide technical mentoring in modeling, analytics technologies, and consulting practices.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience applying advanced analytics techniques.
- Strong applied data science experience in machine learning, operations research, statistics, or data mining.
- Proficiency in Python and working knowledge of Microsoft Azure and its ecosystem.
- Experience with data quality, governance, metadata, lineage, responsible data use, model lifecycle management, and MLOps.
- Strong business problem framing, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a quantitative discipline such as mathematics, statistics, operations research, data science, computer science, information systems, or engineering.
