Lead Financial Analyst (SAP S/4HANA)

Location: Ciudad Juarez, Chihuahua, Mexico; job posting locations also include Bogotá, Distrito Capital, Colombia.

What you will do

• Lead release planning and readiness activities for SAP S/4HANA General Ledger, financial interfaces, and Direct Material Accounts Payable automation.
• Partner with Finance, Procurement, IT, shared services, integration teams, and implementation partners to deliver scalable finance solutions.
• Support General Ledger design covering chart of accounts, ledgers, postings, close processes, Universal Journal, and enterprise reporting.
• Validate interface mappings, error handling, controls, and financial and master data flows between SAP S/4HANA environments and external systems.
• Lead AP automation capabilities including supplier invoice intake, purchase order and goods receipt matching, exception handling, approvals, duplicate prevention, posting, and payment readiness.
• Oversee SIT, FIT, BST, and UAT testing, cutover, go-live, hypercare, training, reconciliations, and post-go-live stabilization.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in finance, SAP delivery, systems integration, or transformation, with strong SAP S/4HANA Finance exposure.
• Hands-on SAP S/4HANA General Ledger and Accounts Payable experience, including journal postings, supplier invoices, close activities, account determination, reconciliation, and reporting.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA integrations, Direct Material AP automation, purchase-to-pay processes, three-way matching, approval workflows, GR/IR reconciliation, and financial controls.
• Strong understanding of finance data structures, master and transactional data, mapping, monitoring, controls, and error handling.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work across technical, cross-functional, and global teams.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Universal Journal, parallel ledgers, intercompany processes, and financial close activities.
• Experience supporting testing, cutover, and post-go-live stabilization for finance and interface deployments.
• CPA, CMA, PMP, MBA, or SAP certification.
• Budgeting, financial forecasting, financial modeling, financial risk management, vendor management, and coaching experience.
