What you will do
- Lead accounting and financial analysis activities, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Prepare, review, and audit financial reports, journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting documentation.
- Monitor project costs, budgets, forecasts, expenditures, accruals, and profitability.
- Analyze financial results, variances, trends, risks, and opportunities, providing recommendations to management.
- Support revenue recognition, invoicing, client billing inquiries, cash collection, and Accounts Receivable optimization.
- Supervise, coach, and develop finance team members while coordinating workflows and continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of accounting, financial analysis, or FP&A experience.
- At least 2 years of people management or supervisory experience.
- Strong knowledge of General Ledger accounting, budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and financial reporting.
- Advanced analytical, financial modeling, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
Nice to have
- CPA, CMA, or equivalent certification completed or in progress.
- Experience in project-based or service-oriented financial environments.
- Knowledge of revenue recognition and project profitability analysis.
- Experience driving process improvements and challenging existing processes.
