Staff User Experience (UX) Researcher (Medtech)

Location: Hybrid, with on-site work required at an hirify.global office in Acton, Massachusetts or San Diego, California.

Annual base salary: $142,400–$213,575, with possible incentive compensation.

hirify.global is a medical device company developing the Omnipod insulin management platform and other wearable drug-delivery solutions for people with diabetes and other conditions.

What you will do

• Lead the global digital and service-based customer experience research roadmap across user flows, websites, web portals, and customer care experiences.
• Design and execute complex qualitative and quantitative studies using surveys, interviews, usability testing, and rigorous research methodologies.
• Own the end-to-end research process, including planning, stakeholder alignment, execution, synthesis, and communication of findings.
• Translate user insights into product and service strategy, design decisions, and customer-centered business outcomes.
• Partner with UX, IT, Product, Marketing, legal, data privacy, and other cross-functional stakeholders.
• Mentor three researchers and improve research practices, tools, and processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Psychology, Human-Computer Interaction, Human Factors, or a related field.
• 7+ years of professional UX research experience supporting physical, digital, web, or service-based products.
• Strong experience with both qualitative and quantitative primary research, including surveys, interviews, and usability testing.
• Familiarity with IT systems and medical, healthcare, or diabetes-related domains.
• Experience using research, design, and collaboration tools such as Qualtrics, Figma, Miro, and AI tools.
• Ability to lead concurrent initiatives, communicate research findings clearly, and drive data-informed decisions.

Nice to have

• Experience with call center analytics, digital web analytics, Salesforce Lightning, or data science partners.
• Experience in regulated healthcare environments, especially insulin delivery systems.
• Experience conducting international research and supporting global initiatives.
• Comfort collaborating across U.S. and European time zones.
